Peppermint Bark Is The New Cookie

Jump to recipe

Yes, candy canes are spectacular. Want to know what is even more exceptional? Candy canes on top of chocolate.

Peppermint Bark is a quintessential holiday treat, ideal for snacking, gatherings, topping ice cream, or even just on display (throw it on a Christmas tree serving platter, and you will be halfway to the Food Network!). In addition to its outstanding aesthetics, this delicious treat is easy to make and only requires a handful of ingredients and kitchen utensils. While we all love a challenging holiday recipe, there’s nothing worse than getting halfway through the preparation steps and realizing you don’t have the niche baking accessory that makes a whole recipe possible. Not to fear, you won’t run into that with this fan favorite!

Besides being easy to make, peppermint bark is an affordable option that is extremely scalable, so it can be made for one or for sharing without breaking the bank. The steps (see below) are straightforward enough for some of Santa’s young helpers if you have those frolicking around your house this time of year.

Treat yourself and your family to this tried and true recipe this holiday season and snap some pictures while you’re at it. You’ll have everyone believing you’re a true confection connoisseur.
